Story of The Blue

Designed by British artist-architect Tszwai So, The Blue by Just Inn transforms a 1970s commercial building in central Taipei into a flagship art-focused hotel. Using a “design-as-you-go” approach, So embraced the building’s history, reusing materials, and drawing inspiration from Taipei’s old town.

Its striking blue façade, inspired by the Taiwan blue magpie and made with locally sourced iron oxide, wraps a space blending hospitality with public art.
